Our range of UMCX type cable assemblies, such as the FMCA1056 RF coaxial assembly, is compatible with Hirose® U.FL™ and IPEX® MHF products. Ideal for board-to-board connectivity such as mini-PCI circuit boards, they are constructed using a flexible micro-coax, allowing them to provide a low RF connection. The FMCA1056 RF coaxial assembly is manufactured with UMCX 2.1 type cable connection on one end and UMCX 2.1 type cable connection on the other end. Built in a plug-to-plug coaxial assembly design, it has a plug gender on end one and a plug on end two.
Fairview Microwave's WMCX type ultra-miniature cable assemblies are compatible with Hirose® W.FL™, IPEX® MHFIII and other UMCX® connector and cable manufacturers. Our cable assemblies, like the FMCA1057, feature a WMCX 1.6 type plug to WMCX 1.6 equivalent plug cable 0.81mm coax. Thanks to their small footprint that allows for easy snap-on/off mating, these cable assemblies are built in a plug-to-plug coaxial assembly design. They offer a small form factor, flexible coax and provide a low profile RF connection that is perfectly suited for board-to-board connectivity.
We stock several HMCX32 type cable assemblies too, including the bestselling FMCA1058 cable assembly. Compatible with Murata® HSC™ and IPEX® MHF4 products, this cable assembly is manufactured with an HMCX32 type 1.2 cable connection on one end and an HMCX32 type 1.2 cable connection on the other end. Thanks to its flexible design and small footprint, it is built in a plug-to-plug coaxial assembly design, with a plug gender on one end and plug-on at the other that allows for easy snap-on/off mating.
Our cable assemblies feature miniature snap-on coax connectors with mated connection heights ranging from just 1.2mm to 2.5mm. They are offered in standard lengths of 6, 9 and 12 inches from stock. We also have custom length versions and special configurations (up to 40 unique types) with multiple coax options including 0.81mm, 1.13mm, 1.37mm, RG178 and doubled shielded RG178 (RG178-DS).
Many of our cable assemblies are constructed using a flexible micro-coaxial cable, have a 50 Ohm impedance and are available in both female and male types. Most cables including the UMCX 2.1, WMCX 1.6 and UMCX 2.5 equivalent can be ordered in between-series configurations with female bulkhead versions of SMA, reverse polarity SMA and Type N connectors as well as an SMA male option. These cables offer form factor and provide a low-profile RF connection perfect for board-to-board connectivity.
