The FCC, for 802.11B APPLICATIONS, Mandated the use of reverse thread and reverse polarity adapters so that consumers couldn't easily substitute higher gain amplifiers and antenna's. PIN's are where sockets normally are, & vice versa. NOTE: Apparently some BNC & TNC reverse polarity connectors don't mate well with each other, there's not an industry specification, call for more info, we believe our interface is the most common. If you're unsure of your selection, please review the Interface Guide.2D & 3D drawings are also available below for your viewing purposes.
Reverse polarity connections can be very confusing, the terminology is not what one would consider common sense; see our interface guide to avoid confusion. Most of our reverse polarity adapters are viewable in a 3d format you can rotate online.
