Coaxial Power Dividers are useful for splitting signals into multiple paths. Microwave power dividers & RF power dividers employee lumped element circuits up to 1-2 ghz, 7 distributed elements beyond 2ghz or so, usually stripline.
These power dividers are useful for dividing & combining signals. Type N power dividers & SMA power dividers are common in both base station & military applications. The power levels of combiners are dependent upon load VSWR; NOTE: When using a coaxial power divider as a combiner, the power it can handle is much less, as the 2 signals being combined are usually not in phase. We can have custom units made; if you need a sma power divider or type n power divider you don't see here (or sma power combiner or type n power combiner), please call. Most of our power dividers are currently of stripline construction but we have airline power dividers on order. Most of the stripline power dividers & power combiners are wilkinson power combiners.
These coaxial power dividers can be used as power combiners but at a greatly reduced power level. 90 degree hybrids can be used for higher power combiners.
